lava pobbles

In Louisville one of the more exciting parts of the experience was finding an original-shape LAVA LAMP in a history museum (????), they were AU$43 but I have never seen them for less than around AU$75 and I've wanted one forever. It's a really big one, 43cm / 17in tall.

But after we left Casey & Gretchen's place I remembered American appliances run on 110v rather than 240v at home, so way to go Lyndal you can't use your lava lamp.

Only one person (Bill) responded saying he would take this lamp, but Webber said I might be able to get a converter for it that won't cost more than the lamp. I really love this lamp, guys.

Tonight we're somewhere in Ohio, doing a southward(ish) route back towards NYC because we don't feel like dying in snow up north.

Today we saw the world's biggest gavel and mortar board! Also Webber was pulled over by the cops because he was doing about 70mph in a 65 zone, we think the dude couldn't be bothered standing in the cold writing a ticket for someone who will never pay it so he was let off.
