BYE AMERICAZ!

We're on our way out of the country!

I had $3 left on my America travel card and we've signed up for a T-Mobile internet plan that costs $5 or something so SUCK IT T-MOBILE.

We had great times and I will miss lemonade like nobody's buisness, had a great day with Kat going to The Grove and the Farmer's Market and it was a beautiful day in beautiful California.

So this is us hotties saying THANK YOU AMERICA and we will see you again some day soon!

Kissles!

Toothpaste Review

Crest 'Whitening Expressions' - Vanilla Mint

Bought the 'shampoo bottle' shaped gel in New York City, then purchased the paste in King of Prussia, PA.

The flavour of this toothpaste is amazing! Like you are brushing your teeth with lollies, very similar to just eating a bunch of chocolate mints (which happens to be my favourite flavour for anything ever, I just polished off a large box of Junion Mints in just over a day).
However the consistency of the gel is very thin, not a lot of foam which is disappointing. The paste is much thicker and has a better level of foam.

Would definitely buy again, may need someone to post me some more in the future (along with some Country Time Pink Lemonade, yet to be reviewed)

Rating: 4 stars
Contains HFCS: No

btw

when we saw Aziz Ansari in San Fran he said he googles his name to see who is talking about him and once found a woman who said he was her celebrity crush, anyway Aziz you are mega handsome let's rock out sometime i will buy you as many bottles of Lift as your heart desires.

lava pobbles

In Louisville one of the more exciting parts of the experience was finding an original-shape LAVA LAMP in a history museum (????), they were AU$43 but I have never seen them for less than around AU$75 and I've wanted one forever. It's a really big one, 43cm / 17in tall.

But after we left Casey & Gretchen's place I remembered American appliances run on 110v rather than 240v at home, so way to go Lyndal you can't use your lava lamp.

Only one person (Bill) responded saying he would take this lamp, but Webber said I might be able to get a converter for it that won't cost more than the lamp. I really love this lamp, guys.

Tonight we're somewhere in Ohio, doing a southward(ish) route back towards NYC because we don't feel like dying in snow up north.

Today we saw the world's biggest gavel and mortar board! Also Webber was pulled over by the cops because he was doing about 70mph in a 65 zone, we think the dude couldn't be bothered standing in the cold writing a ticket for someone who will never pay it so he was let off.

This is America dude

Today we saw a truck being filled up with gas while the engine was running

The truck was unattended

GO STEELERS AND/OR CARDINALS!!!!

REVIEW OF TINY BURGERS ALSO KNOWN AS WHITE CASTLE

These burgers were wet and greasy and tasted of sausage rolls. But they were very very tiny which was great. The chips were normal size and the drinks were giant = america sized. I would give tiny burgers 4/5 for being tiny, and 1/5 at best for taste, but only because i like sausage rolls.

REVIEW OF DAYS INN MOTEL, ABOUT EXIT 7 ON THE I65, CEMENTVILLE, INDIANA

The room was very cold when we got there and the woman at the desk asked me how you abbreviate England. We slightly felt like we would get shot though that was not all bad. It was possible to walk to a KFC slash PIzza hut which was a plus point as Webz was v tired of driving by then i think. The neighbours shouted a lot and in the morning a man knocked on our door to tell us he would hammer. People at breakfast were friendly and apologised ALL THE TIME it was like being in England. Oh I'm sorry ma'am. I was talking to a woman from Kentucky who was staying there because her power was out all week and her generator broke last year and she had a baby. She was surprised that this was my real accent and i'm not just putting it on.

REVIEW OF KFC SLASH PIZZA HUT

My food was ok i had chicken breast, mashed potato and a corn on the cob, Lyndal had something disgusting. She gives it 2/5 i give it 4/5 once i had peeled the fried battered skin off the chicken. Webber liked it too.

REVIEW OF THE BASEBALL BAT MUSEUM

We did not pay for the tour because we didnt have time but the gift shop was awesome and the people were super nice, we got served by a woman named Kyely and a dude kept trying to do our accents and let us use the toilets. Also you could watch how bats are made. I would definitely visit this if i was in Louisville again and it was only 5$ and the toilets were nice.

REVIEW OF THE AMERICAN HISTORY MUSEUM BUT WHICH IS MAINLY ABOUT THE REVOLUTIONARY WAR AND THE CIVIL WAR

We did not go in this museum either but the gift shop was double awesome, Shara bought a book about the international declaration of human rights and a bag and got a member discount because i was talking to the woman who was great, her parents were Prison Evangelists so she grew up in a RV driving round the states, she's been to 36 states and she was home schooled from 5th grade up to the high school graduation. She's originally from boston but she came here because she likes it. And she's saving up to go to Scotland and England. And for halloween 3 years ago she dressed up as Tina Fey. And she was left handed. Like Tina Fey and Obama. She and the guy did not seem to like obama. Anyway this is not the blog of her life story. OR IS IT. I would defs go to this museum because it's about being in the South pre-civil war which is innnnteresting. Don't know how much it cost.

REVIEW OF AMERICA SO FAR

Very interesting to visit like crazy and 5/5 for that, though if i lived here i would emigrate. GOD BLESS AMERICA.

This is at the science museum!!

Cementville, IN

We are seriously staying in a town called Cementville (or 'Concreteville' as Shara and Ro have called it), we were in Louisville, KY and had to leave the state just to find a hotel because everyone has no power and is taking up our cheap hotel rooms.

Anyway hi we are not dead!

Ok so there hasn't really been a proper post since the 28th and even though that is only a few days ago many things have happened! Will try to summarise in point form however I kind of feel like I am drunk at the moment and my head is spinning? That's upsetting.

+ Left NYC, took forever just to get out because of weird streets and people just driver however the fuck they like. Webber did exceptionally well at driving a backwards car on the wrong side of the road.
+ Drove straight to Maryland (missed the Mütter Museum in Philadelphia, boo) and stayed with Ro's friend Susan who has a totally awesome and cute house and she was lovely and we all want to live near Washington DC now
+ Went to medical museum in Washington which was AWESOME!! But not enough body partz.
+ Met the handsome Kyle Daly in DC after a car tour with Susan, walked everywhere and when we came back to Susan's car discovered it had been towed!!
+ Said goodbye to Kyle (who was far too cool to give us hugs) and caught the metro back to get our car. Had hugs from Susan. She gave me bacon shaped band-aids.
+ Drove to somewhere outside Pittsburgh, hotel was $70 (incl. tax) for the room with free wifi and breakfast! You even made your own waffles!!
+ Woke up to FALLING SNOW. I immediately got dressed and ran outside to see this for the first time in my life, it's pretty amazing guys.
+ Drove to Harrisburg, PA and met Shara's friend Dee at Red Robin which had BOTTOMLESS CHIPS with your meal. God Bless America! Also if you had a bottomless drink the waitress brought you a new full one without having to ask!
+ All went to Wal-Mart, turns out our Wal-Mart virginity was broken at the same one where Shara's was 8 years ago.
+ Wal-Mart is insane
+ Drove to Monroe, OH to see 'Touchdown Jesus'. Ro found directions first by twittering and asking and getting multiple detailed replies, then asked a (likely) Christian couple if we were near 'touchdown jesus', not realising that it wasn't the official name for the statue and offending them slightly
+ Today drove to Louisville, KY and met Jon Bois, Daniel Chase Peach and Will at the local Arby's. Learned that they only see roast beef = RB = Arby's.
+ Walked around, missed out on the BASEBALL BAT MUSEUM, also missed out on seeing Col. Sander's grave because of the snow, ate sweet pies

Tomorrow driving back to Louisville and seeing those dudes again (try and see the giant bat) then on to Indianapolis to rock out with Casey and have an all-nerds Superbowl/LAN party

In important Lyndal news my phone has decided it won't charge anymore unless i charge it in the car and I have developed a weird fine rash around my eyes that is neither painful or itchy just creepy. I refuse to believe it's the 10% peroxide I am coating my face in at night so I'm still using it, as I never put it near my eyes.

Oh yeah and Webber turned onto a major road and went on the wrong side, but it was the second time he's done it (did it leaving Red Robin) but this time it was at night with lots of cars so that was scary! But to be fair he is real sick and tired and left turns are really disorienting.

Likely forgotten important things and we have many food reviews to catch up on but it's nearly midnight so bed time and enjoy this photo of everyone giving John Stewart the finger

BAMF

I updated this so get to it! There are more to add BUT I am grumpy now! Today we drove on the wrong side of the road for the first time! It was pretty scary for us and everyone else on the motorway!!

joy

shara: "Man, i can't believe i met other people with flat hair!!"

o hai

o hai. well these australasians are hatin' on NYC because it's not 20C. yesterday was sunny and they went to the shut MoMA and I went to the open Chinatown and fotc places and took lotssss of picturez but i haven't got a computer to put them on so i'll upload when i get back to england. it was p great. after we didnt get in to that television programme x 2 and had delicious dinner, i met my friend patricia who took me to a street just made of korean. so all the writing was in korean and you could buy dumpling wrappers and bean paste and dog clothes. I was taking a picture of the dog clothes and a shop woman came and talked to me so I had to pretend i had a dog. It is 20lbs. That was her estimate that i agreed with.

I havent slept in a long time and now i have a fever and im sitting in the foyer of the MoMA while they go round and i've got webber's computer which is shiny but fortunately not rained upon. a homeless person asked me the time and all i could provide was australian time so he was not too impressed.

I'm drinking Diet Snapple because liz lemon advertises snapple, and diet because the non-diet is all HFCS. This sort is full of phenylanaline which is a delicious neurotoxin. I miss fruit and vegetables.

oh look it's the foyer in the MoMA. i'm p sure this is not useful for anything. A guy next to me is talking german. Er hofft, dass das Wetter ganz nett ist. Tschuess!
